Autoimmune hepatitis

Autoimmune hepatitis
An example of interface hepatitis (thick arrows). Note that the inflammatory cells appear to surround individual or small groups of hepatocytes at the limiting plate. When interface hepatitis is severe, as in this case, the inflammatory cells go beyond the limiting plate and into the rest of the lobules.
