Dermoscopic features of superficial hematoma in the plantar skin
On dermoscopy, a superficial hematoma in the plantar skin shows a pigment distribution reminiscent of the parallel ridge pattern. However, the reddish tone and sharp demarcation of the lesion and the presence of reddish-black globules are helpful in differentiating hematomas from melanocytic lesions.
