The CT scan at the level of the aortic arch demonstrates a traumatic tear associated with a mediastinal hematoma (arrow in A). The site of the tear can be seen (arrows in B and C). A small left hemothorax is also present (arrow in D). Steatosis of the liver is also present (arrowhead in D).
