This 45-year-old male was the unrestrained driver of a front impact motor vehicle accident. An intra-articular talar head fracture, with involvement of the talonavicular joint, is noted on lateral radiographs of the left ankle (A, arrow). Subsequent CT examination more clearly demonstrates the talar head fracture with talonavicular joint involvement (B, arrowhead).
