Gravity stress mortise radiograph of the ankle

These photographs show the position for obtaining a gravity stress mortise view of the ankle. This view can demonstrate injury of the medial ankle ligaments and can be obtained without inflicting unnecessary pain on the patient, as occurs with a manual stress view.
