Avulsion fracture associated with jersey finger

Avulsion fracture associated with jersey finger
The plain radiograph of the right ring (fourth) finger in the AP (A), lateral (B), and oblique (C) projections reveals a severe avulsion fracture (red arrows) of the base of the distal phalanx at the insertion point of the flexor digitorum profundus muscle reminiscent of the injury associated with the jersey finger.
AP: anteroposterior.
