Computed tomography of the lower chest of an older female with organoaxial volvulus shows accumulated food and fluid in a distended stomach with evidence of pneumatosis of the stomach wall (arrow). A small gas bubble in the liver represents portal venous air (arrowhead). The patient was decompressed in the operating room and the hernia was repaired.
