Radiograph incomplete stable fracture of proximal phalanx
The anterior-posterior (AP) view of the left fourth proximal phalanx (A, magnified in B) reveals an incomplete complex fracture of the proximal diaphysis with mild overlying soft tissue swelling. The oblique image confirms a nondisplaced fracture that is barely visible (D, red arrow). The fracture was not obvious on the lateral examination.
