Aortic root aneurysm long axis view from a 2D echocardiogram

2D echocardiogram shows marked aneurysmal dilatation of the aortic root. Aortic valve motion is normal and the left ventricle is of normal size, although there is concentric hypertrophy of the septum and posterior wall.
