Congenital laryngomalacia visualized on flexible laryngoscopy

Congenital laryngomalacia visualized on flexible laryngoscopy
Flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy in an infant with congenital laryngomalacia. The omega-shaped epiglottis is well visualized. During inspiration, the redundant supra-arytenoid tissue can be seen collapsing into the glottic inlet. The vocal cords appear normal. Inspiratory "wet" stridor can be heard throughout the examination.
