(A) An 18-month-old child with McKusick-type metaphyseal chondrodysplasia. Notice the characteristic light, sparse hair; disproportionate short stature; pectus excavatum; and varus deformities of the lower extremities.
(B) Mildly increased lumbar lordosis, flexion contractures of the elbows, and expansion of the wrists are also part of the deformity.
