Carpal bones
This posterior-anterior (PA) radiograph of the wrist shows the locations and names of the eight bones of the carpus. The proximal row (from radial to ulnar) is composed of the scaphoid (also known as the navicular), lunate, triquetrum, and pisiform. In the distal row are the trapezium, trapezoid, capitate, and hamate.
