Pulmonary hypertension

Pulmonary hypertension
This plain frontal chest radiograph from a 50-year-old male demonstrates prominence of the interstitial pulmonary markings with enlargement of the right and left ventricle and the right atrium (arrow). Additionally, large central, but attenuated peripheral pulmonary arteries are noted (arrowhead), all features characteristic of pulmonary hypertension.
