Complete transection of the common bile duct after cholecystectomy

This percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram (PTC) demonstrates complete transection of the common bile duct (arrow) and dilation of the biliary tree in a patient following cholecystectomy. The patient was treated with hepaticojejunostomy.
