Entamoeba in stool

Wet mount of stool (x1000) showing a cyst, which could be Entamoeba histolytica, Entamoeba dispar, or Entamoeba moshkovskii; these are indistinguishable by morphology. However, E. dispar and E. moshkovskii are nonpathogenic and do not cause symptomatic disease.
