The right ventricular forces become predominant in patients with RVH, producing tall R waves in the right precordial leads (V1 and V2), and deep S waves in the left precordial leads (V5 and V6); an R:S ratio >1 in V1 and V2 is suggestive of RVH. Other features in this case include right axis deviation and R in V1 >7 mm.
