Invasive urothelial carcinoma, nested subtype

Invasive urothelial carcinoma, nested subtype
At low power (A, 10×), the nested subtype of urothelial carcinoma is characterized by crowded nests with deceptively bland appearance, irregularly invading muscle fibers. At higher power (B, 20×) the cytologic atypia increases, particularly in the deeper portion of the lesion.
