Combined pulmonary infection

Chest radiograph shows extensive bilateral pulmonary infiltrates in a patient on high-dose glucocorticoids for granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener’s) who developed acute fever and dyspnea. Lung biopsy demonstrated dual infection with cytomegalovirus and Legionella pneumophila.
