A-B: In poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma, the cells are small, rather uniform, hyperchromatic, with nuclear molding, scant cytoplasm and inconspicuous nucleoli. C: Approximately half of small cell carcinomas are associated with areas of urothelial carcinoma and less frequently squamous cell carcinoma.
