Rheumatic subcutaneous nodules
Rheumatic subcutaneous nodules are usually located near tendons or over a bony surface or prominence (see arrows). The overlying skin is not inflamed and typically can be moved over the nodules. The diameter varies from a few millimeters to 1 to 2 centimeters.
