Bankart lesion of the shoulder on radiography

Bankart lesion of the shoulder on radiography
Anterior-posterior radiograph of the left shoulder in a patient with a history of a shoulder dislocation shows a Bankart lesion. Bankart lesions occur when the glenoid labrum is disrupted with dislocation. Most involve soft tissue but a small percentage involve the avulsion of bone fragments (arrow).
