Three-phase bone scan (technetium 99m methylene diphosphate bone scintography)
(A) Bone scan showing no activity in the lungs and musculature of lower extremities five months prior to diagnosis of calciphylaxis. (B) Extensive increase in activity throughout both lungs and lower extremities suggestive of metastatic calcification in a patient with a diagnosis of calciphylaxis.
