Postinfectious glomerulonephritis light microscopy

Postinfectious glomerulonephritis light microscopy
The most common morphologic pattern of bacterial infection-associated glomerulonephritis is diffuse and global endocapillary proliferative glomerulonephritis. The glomerular capillaries in this glomerulus are globally occluded by numerous intracapillary infiltrating neutrophils and proliferation of glomerular mesangial and endothelial cells (H&E).
