Common locations of bone tumors

Chondroblastoma favors the epiphysis in the skeletally immature patient. Round cell lesions favor the diaphysis. The majority of other lesions favor the metaphysis. Giant cell tumors will extend to the joint surface in a skeletally mature patient.
