At the postsynaptic membrane, muscle-specific tyrosine kinase (MuSK) is associated with the low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4 (Lrp4). MuSK activation through agrin-Lrp4 binding triggers a signaling pathway, which includes Dok7 recruitment, leading to AChR clustering. Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) binds through its collagen Q (ColQ) tail to perlecan and MuSK.
