Inferior MI with probable posterior-lateral involvement
Inferior MI with probable posterior-lateral involvement
Electrocardiogram showing inferior myocardial infarction (Q waves and ST elevations in leads II, III, and aVF) with probable posterior-lateral extension (reciprocal ST depressions and tall R waves in leads V2 and V3). Reciprocal ST depressions are also seen in leads I and aVL. Application of extra leads (V7-V9) may be helpful in such cases. Refer to UpToDate topic review of ECG tutorial: Myocardial ischemia and infarction.
