Bacterial pneumonia after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant

(A) Chest radiograph in patient with fever six days post allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation shows poorly defined area of increased opacity in the periphery of the left lung.

(B) High-resolution CT on the same day demonstrates consolidation within the lingula. Sputum cultures grew Moraxella catarrhalis.
