Manometry

Manometry
Manometry is a test that measures the pressure at different places inside the esophagus. To do this, a small tube, or "catheter," that senses pressure is inserted through the nose and into the esophagus. The results of the test can tell the doctor how well the muscles that help with swallowing are working.
