Endoscopic examination of early gastric cancer

Endoscopic examination of early gastric cancer
These pictures demonstrate endoscopic visualization of a lesion that was suspicious for early gastric cancer. Examination with white light endoscopy revealed a 12 mm IIa+IIc lesion that was located near the incisura angularis of the stomach (A). Linked color imaging demonstrated marked redness with a pink pale background mucosa (B). Indigo carmine dye spraying clearly delineated the lesion’s margin (C). Blue light imaging with 1.5 times magnification revealed a demarcation line with irregular microvessels (D).
