Postpartum complete salpingectomy

Postpartum complete salpingectomy
The fallopian tube is gently elevated with a Babcock clamp and the mesosalpinx is divided by applying cautery (or sequential placement of clamps and suture ligation) just beneath the fallopian tube and away from the ovarian vessels. The device is moved proximally until the cornua is reached, at which point the fallopian tube is dissected from the uterus.
