Scanning prior to supraclavicular block

This video shows baseline scanning of anatomy relevant for performing supraclavicular brachial plexus block. The brachial plexus can be seen lateral to the subclavian artery. Deep to the plexus, the pleura is visualized as a shimmering line that moves with respiration.
