Hemodynamic traces on the bedside monitor during weaning from intra-aortic balloon pump

Hemodynamic traces on the bedside monitor during weaning from intra-aortic balloon pump
There are two arterial pressure traces (red 137/14) and (white 127/30). One of the traces is recorded directly from the tip of the IABP. It shows good timing of balloon inflation and deflation, once every four heart beats (1:4 support). The white tracing shows slightly different BP values, and it is recorded from a femoral artery, and the timing of balloon inflation appears to be too early.
BP: blood pressure; IABP: intra-aortic balloon pump.
