Osgood-Schlatter ultrasound findings

Osgood-Schlatter ultrasound findings
This longitudinal ultrasound image of the patellar tendon insertion shows signs of Osgood-Schlatter disease. The solid arrow indicates changes in tendon appearance, notably the loss of echogenicity and normal architecture. The dashed arrow indicates the fragmented apophysis. Bony avulsion from the tibia is indicated by the caliper markings (crosses).
