Monteggia fracture in adult

The oblique and lateral plain radiographs above show a Monteggia fracture in an adult patient. Note the fracture of the proximal ulna (arrows) and the dislocation (arrowhead) of the radial head (R), which is not aligned with the capitellum (C).
