Small angiomyolipoma on magnetic resonance imaging

Small angiomyolipoma on magnetic resonance imaging
Axial T1 without fat saturation MRI (arrow, A) shows a small right renal mass with the same signal intensity as perinephric and subcutaneous fat. Axial T1 with fat saturation MRI (dashed arrow, B) shows loss of signal in the mass, similar to the adjacent fat. Axial postcontrast T1 with fat saturation MRI (thick arrow, C) shows enhancement in a small part of the medial mass. Axial T2 with fat saturation MRI (arrowhead, D) shows the mass to have little signal, similar to adjacent fat.
MRI: magnetic resonance imaging.
