Schematic for thoracic ESP block

This schematic shows placement of the block needle and hydrodissection for thoracic erector spinae plane block, in both transverse and sagittal planes. Correct needle placement is confirmed by visualizing the anterior fascia of the erector spinae muscle separating from the tip of the transverse process.
