Seminal plasma IgE levels in systemic versus localized allergy

Result of IgE-specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using sera from 4 systemic and 10 localized seminal plasma hypersensitive patients. Values were expressed as ratios between optical density values (reflecting concentration of the antibody) obtained using patient serum to that from healthy donor's serum (P/N values). Systemic reactors show significantly elevated serum IgE compared with localized reactors.
