Type Description
A Peripheral bile leakage from cystic duct or gallbladder bed
B Stenosis of the main bile duct without injury (ie, caused by a surgical clip)
C Tangential injury of the common bile duct (above or below the hepatic bifurcation)
D Completely transected bile duct (above or below the hepatic bifurcation)
E Stricture of the main bile duct
