Parasagittal oblique interlaminar view for lumbar neuraxial ultrasound with vertical center line
This image shows a vertical centered line that appears on many ultrasound screens with the M-mode or M/D cursor function. The vertical ultrasound line should be centered in the middle of the interlaminar space and corresponds to the midpoint of the long-edge of the ultrasound transducer. When counting interspaces, it can be useful to mark the skin at the center of each interspace. For further detail refer to UpToDate content on neuraxial ultrasound for anesthesia.
