Two different patients with pathologically proven ganglioglioma. Noncontrast CT (A) and T2-weighted (B) and contrast-enhanced T1-weighted (C) MRIs show a mixed solid and cystic mass in the right inferomedial parietal lobule. The solid component enhances intensely (C) compared with the nonenhancing cystic component. In another patient, transverse axial T1-weighted (D), T2-weighted (E), and coronal FLAIR (F) MRIs show a cortically centered tumor in the right superior temporal gyrus. The mass is CSF isointense on T1- and T2-weighted images but not on FLAIR. On all images, the tumor causes slight outward "bulging" of the temporal cortical contour.
