Evaluation of esophagogastric junction opening with FLIP[1,2]
Evaluation of esophagogastric junction opening with FLIP[1,2]
Classification of the EGJ opening is based on studies that used the 16 cm catheter, measured the EGJ-DI during the 60 mL fill volume, and measured the maximum EGJ diameter during the 60 or 70 mL fill volumes.
FLIP: functional lumen imaging probe; EGJ: esophagogastric junction; EGJ-DI: esophagogastric junction distensibility index.
* The EGJ-DI is measured during the 60 mL fill volume with the 16 cm catheter.
