Necrotizing periodontitis

38 year-old male, HIV-positive with necrotizing periodontitis before (panel A) and two months after (panel B) active treatment that included scaling and root planing, use of systemic antibiotic (amoxicillin combined with metronidazole), and use of 0.12% chlorhexidine gluconate.
