Leptomeningeal disease: Linear versus nodular

Leptomeningeal disease: Linear versus nodular
(A) Patient 1: Axial T1-weighted postcontrast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrates abnormal linear enhancement along the folia of the cerebellum, consistent with linear leptomeningeal disease in a patient with metastatic breast cancer.
(B) Patient 2: Axial T1-weighted postcontrast MRI demonstrates multiple nodules of abnormal enhancement within gyral folds, consistent with nodular leptomeningeal disease in a patient with metastatic breast cancer.
