Local reaction to COVID-19 vaccine

Local reaction to COVID-19 vaccine
The photographs show a delayed, large local reaction, which began eight days after the first dose of the Moderna vaccine (A) and then progressed over the next two days (B and C). The patient received the second dose in the other arm and had no local reaction but reported fatigue and mild myalgias for two weeks. Systemic symptoms are variable with these reactions. The faint black lines are marker pen that was used to delineate the leading edge of the lesion as it progressed.
