Paraffin-embedded lung tissue was sectioned and stained with Elastic Trichrome stain. Normal lung tissue obtained from excess donor lung at time of transplantation is shown on the left (no CLAD; A, C). CLAD lungs are shown on the right with representative images of bronchiolitis obliterans (B) and pleuroparenchymal fibroelastosis (D).
