Iatrogenic arteriovenous fistula after femoral venous access

Iatrogenic arteriovenous fistula after femoral venous access
Following prior central venous access, a CT angiogram showed a left femoral AV fistula (A, arrow). Surgical exploration with exposure of the left groin identified the femoral AV fistula (B), which was repaired by removing the connection between the vessels and repairing the artery and vein primarily.
CT: computed tomography; AV: arteriovenous.
