Noncontrast CT on hospital days 1 (A), 7 (B), and 10 (C) show thickened soft tissues (*) from facial cellulitis and progressive enlargement of both superior ophthalmic veins (dashed arrows). Contrast-enhanced CT on day 7 (D, E) show enlargement and small-filling defects in both cavernous sinuses (arrows) consistent with cavernous sinus thrombosis. Head CT demonstrates loss of cerebral grey-white differentiation and effacement of frontal horns consistent with increased intracranial pressure on day 7 (F) compared with day 1 (G).
