Central and peripheral venoarterial (VA) extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
(A) Central venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, with central cannulation through a clamshell incision.
(B) Peripheral venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, with peripheral cannulation through a horizontal open groin approach to the right femoral vein and artery.
