The Copenhagen hip adductor exercises shown above reduce the risk of adductor strain. As the adductors become stronger, athletes progress from the basic exercise (3A-B) to intermediate (2A-B) and more advanced (1A-B) versions. For each exercise shown, A is the starting/ending position and B is the mid-position.
