Axial (A), coronal (B), and sagittal (C) T1-weighted contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance images of the brain show a heterogeneously enhancing posterior fossa mass (circles). Enlarged lateral ventricles on the coronal images (asterisks) are consistent with obstructive hydrocephalus. At the time of resection, pathology confirmed a World Health Organization (WHO) grade 3 anaplastic ependymoma with chromosome 1q gain.
